ATTENTION VACATION AND SEASONAL RENTAL OWNERS!
The Supreme Court has annulled the Single Register of Short-Term Leases, ruling that the State lacks the authority to establish it.

Recently, under judgment no. 620/2026, the mandatory nature of the Single Register of Short-Term Leases (NRUA), which was intended to be publicised via digital platforms and which required the legal identification of properties or rooms intended for short-term or seasonal rentals at national level (Single Register of Leases (NRUA)).

This court ruling paves the way for landlords who were forced to bear costs, administrative burdens and restrictions in order to comply with this regulation to claim damages from the authorities.
